Lone Star Dispatch Issue #4

A1:
The story 'Varsity cheerleaders prepare for national competition" was written by Jadon Alvarez and its about the James Bowie varsity cheerleaders who got the opportunity to cheer at the nationals in Florida. Its a great opportunity for everybody because especially the girls who want to cheer in college are gonna be watched from colleges. The cheerleaders had to redo their performance because injuries in the team and they need to especially look at the music they chose, and they also put in their own stuff into performances. Adding to all that they need to get their school stuff done and bond together as a team.

A7:
Its about the the peaceful marches that occurred all across the nation and especially the one in Austin on January 21. The people protested for women rights and the benefits for every human from any orientation, color or size. The protests are mostly about demolishing the Pink Tax. After Donald Trumps election people got more afraid because of the plans he has about woman rights. Protests are the best way in those situations to express your opinion.

"Inherit fortunes with Netflix's"A series of Unfortunate Events"" by Justine Lockhart is about the Netflix show that premiered on Friday the 13th . Its about different characters and each of the children has a talent which can be really unrealistic and what makes the show more childish. Its a cleverly produced show and every episode equals one of the books and every book gets a personalized theme song. The author gave the show 4 out of 5 stars.

A1: I think the picture is a good picture because of the lightning that comes from the back of the football field and shines exactly on the cheerleaders in the focus. It also is another perspective to look on the cheerleaders and not just a boring picture from a straight view to all the cheerleaders. The picture goes a long with the story and gives us a little bit more information about what the article is. I can see Balance, Rule of Thirds and Avoid Mergers. The cheerleader in the focus is the main object. The photographer exposed the picture good and made a good depth of field.

B2: The picture by Mia Barbosa is a good picture because the lightning from the small windows in the gym are falling right in the focus of the boy and the perspective she chose shows that he is working out and more interesting subjects in the room. The picture goes a long real well with the story and gives us an idea what the story is about. I can see Balance, depth and lines. The picture is exposed properly.

B6: The picture by Carissa Duran has a good lightning and has a focus on the boy and the sugar glider. The picture goes a long with the story and includes rules like rule of thirds, and background. The main object is the glider and the picture is exposed in a good way.

A8: The picture on the beam has a good lightning and the photographer chose a good perspective to capture that scene. In the picture I can see the rule of thirds and lines what makes the picture interesting looking. The picture is a good picture that goes a long well with the story. The main object is the athlete Kate and it is exposed properly.

B8: The picture Love is Love has good lightning and gives us a idea what the article is about. The rule I can see is cropping and it has a good balance at the depth of the field. I can see good exposeing.

My favorite picture of the entrie paper is on page B8 the picture that is captured starting young and i like it that much because it shows this little boy holding the poster with the words "I respect girls". I can see the rule cropping.

My least favorite picture is on page A8 named break time, because I don't like how the photographer cropped that picture or the perspective she chose.

As a newspaper staff I would have liked to take the pictures at the woman´s march because it is historically really important and a great place to get some awesome pictures.
Overall I really like the pictures they took but I think they could have been more creative withe the photography rules and also cropped better.
